N. Venkateswaran
“Legacy Beyond Chemicals”
Mr. N Venkateswaran, a science graduate from Madras University joined M/s Ram-Nath & Co in the year 1966 after some work experience with a multi-national company. Under his guidance, Ram-Nath experienced its transformation from being an ‘Acid Company’ to a professionally managed sales and distribution organization handling various specialty chemicals, polymers, and additives.
Mr. Venkateswaran has always played an active role in the development of the chemical trade and industry. He was one of the founders of the Chemical Industries Association and the Past President of Tamil Nadu Dyes & Chemicals Merchants Association. The Chemical Industries Association conferred on him a “RASA UDYOG RATNA” award for his significant contribution to the cause of the chemical industry. He was also the recipient of a “RASAYAN SHREE” award from Tamil Nadu Dyes & Chemicals Merchants Association for his outstanding contribution to the Association’s growth. The Federation of Madras Merchants & Manufactures’ Association conferred on M/s Ram-Nath & Co. Pvt. Ltd a “MOITA” award for Trust & Trade Excellence in the year 2018-19.
An active Rotarian for over 55 years, he was also the former president of the Rotary Club of Madras South. He was an enthusiastic cricket player and participated in local league tournaments in Chennai & Calcutta. Later on, he developed a passion for tennis and was an active player until a few years back.
He has had a ringside view of the chemical industry for over 55 years, which enabled him to author a book titled “FOOTPRINTS OF INDIAN CHEMICAL INDUSTRY”, an attempt never been made by anyone earlier and it was published in the year 2019. Mr. Venkateswaran, as the Managing Director of Ram-Nath, is still providing his leadership to the organization.

V. Hari Narayanan

Mr. V Hari Narayanan, Director of Ram-Nath & Co and Co-founder of LiveRight and Odo-Rite. Emerging from a chemical background, Hari started his professional career in Ram-Nath in 1993 and is currently active in supporting the organization and its employees with strong business values. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 1990 and pursued his Master’s in Polymer Engineering at The University of Akron, OH.
Hari’s greatest talent lies in understanding the markets and the ability to identify business opportunities. Hari believes in following his curiosity which has manifested in our start-ups Odo-Rite and LiveRight.
Hari is an avid reader and loves to write on philosophy. Exploring new things and traveling has always been a part of his life.

Hari Narayanan

Mr. K A Srinivasan, Director of Ram-Nath & Co and Co-founder of Odo-Rite, LiveRight, and EcoBasket. He has been working for more than 30 years in the field of sales, marketing, business development, and general management, with an impressive track record. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in production engineering in 1990 and continued his MBA studies with a specialization in marketing at Madurai Kamaraj University. Before Joining Ram-Nath, Srinivasan has acquired wide experience from different industries.
Srinivasan had worked for business development in automotive & industrial lubricants (Castrol) and later in the paint industry, rising to the level of the southern regional head (ICI India Ltd). He has been with Ram-Nath since the year 2000.
Srinivasan is an upright man with a strong and objective mindset. He leads an active, athletic lifestyle with a passion for running and high-altitude hiking.
