In this article we look at Poly Aluminum Chloride and how it is used in the manufacture of Gelatin.
Gelatin is a gelling agent used in food, pharmaceuticals, photography, and cosmetics manufacturing. Gelatin is derived from the collagen in animals’ skin and bones. The process for manufacturing gelatin produces large amounts of waste water that has to be treated before it is safe for disposal.
Ram-Nath offers Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) to gelatin manufacturers for treatment of their waste water. PAC is an inorganic flocculent that promotes the aggregation of suspended solids in waste water.
Poly Aluminum Chloride is also used in the treatment of other industrial waste water and even potable water.
